A globally respected hospitality brand is seeking a seasoned Global Controller to lead financial operations across U.S. and international markets. Reporting to the CFO, this executive role will oversee accounting, reporting, compliance, and controls, while supporting strategic growth initiatives and driving performance across all entities. The ideal candidate is a CPA with multi-unit, global experience and a background in the hospitality sector—restaurants, hotels, or similar.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee global financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and international standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across all markets.
• Manage internal controls, audits, tax compliance, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Drive process improvements and ERP system optimization.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed finance team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategy with business operations.

Qualifications

• CPA required; Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Hospitality industry experience required (restaurants, hotels, or related sectors).
• Must have multi-unit and international finance experience.
• Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, multi-currency consolidations, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• This is an in office on site role based in NYC
